TEACHER’S DAY

TEACHER’S DAY
Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu, Gurur Devo Maheshwarah.
Gururev Param Brahma, Tasmaii Shrii Guruve Namah.
This became inspiration for the Teacher’s Day celebration at ISME. The Teacher’s Day is celebrated in memory of Late S. Radhakrishnan, the second President of India. He was the renowned scholar and was known for his simplicity and intellectual prowess.  A great personality indeed we always remember the noble soul.
The eventful day was organized by social club. The event started with the presentation of flowers and mementoes to teachers. This was followed by Lamp Lighting by the Management and the Faculty of ISME, symbolizing the efforts of teachers who light the life of the students. Then there was a cake cutting ceremony.
The social club flag bearers gave introductory speech. Then there was an energetic dance performance by Srikant, followed by a melodious song ‘Pagla Hawa’ in Bengali by Aishi. Neetu and Malvika presented a graceful dance. The guitar performance by Deepak and Aishi & Swati as singers followed thereafter. The highlight of the event was the participation of teachers in musical chair. The students were motivated by the speeches delivered by Pallavi Mam and Swaroop Sir.
Thanks to Aishi and Atul, flag bearers of social club, for organizing Teacher’s Day.
