ISME’s Analytics Chapter 2025 featured an insightful session led by Anuradha Adiga, Senior Principal Consultant at Infosys, on Essential Concepts in Cloud Computing and Azure Machine Learning.

The session introduced Microsoft Azure as a leading cloud platform and provided a primer on machine learning, highlighting its transformative impact across healthcare, finance, and retail. Discussions focused on cloudbased applications and the advantages of integrating ML with cloud services.

A highlight was a case study on predicting automobile prices using Azure ML, which demonstrated realworld relevance. Students were guided through an industrystandard ML workflow—from data collection to model training and prediction—gaining practical exposure to how analytics and AI converge in modern business contexts.

Business Analytics Conclave 2025: Reimagining Analytics Through HumanCentered AI

The Business Analytics Conclave 2025 served as a dynamic platform for students to engage with leading industry experts and explore how data and artificial intelligence are reshaping the world.

Centered on the theme “Reimagining Analytics Through HumanCentered AI”, the conclave emphasized the need to balance technological innovation with human values, ethics, and empathy. Through keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, participants gained insights into how AI can democratize analytics, safeguard data privacy, and foster trust in the digital age.

Analytics Project Prism 2025 – Project Review

On 13th December 2025, ISME conducted the Analytics Project Prism – Project Review for PGDM Year 2 students specializing in Analytics. The event evaluated student projects through an industry lens, emphasizing realworld problemsolving, model justification, interpretability, and decisionmaking impact.

Students presented endtoend analytics projects across diverse domains including advanced machine learning, sentiment analysis, clickbait detection, predictive modelling, recommendation systems, and prescriptive analytics. Each project showcased the complete analytics lifecycle—from problem definition and data preprocessing to modeling, evaluation, and actionable insights.

The reviews were led by two distinguished industry experts, whose feedback provided valuable guidance on aligning academic work with industry expectations.

Business Analytics Conclave – Industry 5.0 and Human Centric Automation

The Business Analytics Conclave offered students a valuable opportunity to learn directly from corporate experts on Industry 5.0, human centric automation, and analytics. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive exchanges, participants gained practical insights and engaged with industry leaders.

The 2023 Business Analytics Conclave centered on the theme “Unlocking the Power of Data for Business Success”, offering students valuable insights into the transformative role of analytics in modern business.

A highlight of the event was the panel discussion on “Ethics in AI and Analytics: Setting the Agenda for Responsible Data Usage to Build a Resilient Business”. This session helped students appreciate the importance of ethical practices and responsible data usage in shaping sustainable enterprises.

Interactive activities such as Project Analysis and Analytics Bingo further enriched the learning experience, providing practical exposure and engaging ways to strengthen students’ understanding of analytics concepts.
