The International School of Management Excellence (ISME), Bengaluru, successfully hosted the Inauguration and Orientation Programme for the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) Class of 2026 on 28 August 2026. The programme marked the formal commencement of the doctoral journey of the new cohort of FPM scholars and provided them with an introduction to ISME’s academic environment, research ecosystem, faculty, programme structure, and expectations of doctoral-level management education.
The inauguration programme featured sessions highlighting ISME’s vision, values, and academic ecosystem, along with insights into contemporary management research, the significance of high-quality research and publications, and the role of impactful research in a doctoral journey. The programme also showcased the achievements of ISME’s Department of Research and offered the incoming scholars an opportunity to interact with academic leaders, research faculty, and fellow scholars.
The inaugural session included the introduction of the new scholars, felicitation of the Chief Guest, and a vote of thanks. The session concluded with a group photograph, capturing an important milestone in the academic journey of the FPM Class of 2026.
The orientation programme focused on familiarising the scholars with the academic and research journey ahead at ISME. The sessions included an ice-breaking activity, an introduction to faculty guides, an orientation to DigiCampus, and a detailed overview of the FPM course plan, academic expectations, and programme guidelines. The programme provided the scholars with greater clarity on the structure and requirements of the programme while helping them connect with faculty members and their fellow researchers.
The day concluded with a group photograph and high tea with faculty members, providing an informal setting for interaction, networking, and further engagement between the new scholars and the ISME academic community.
