A key highlight was the panel discussion on de-dollarization, moderated by Prof. Shashi Rekha B V, featuring distinguished panelists including Mr. Sanjeev B, Mr. Vibhor Dubey, Mr. Narasimham M R, Ms. Bhanuprabha Akella, and Ms. Suparna Dey. Through keynote sessions, expert interactions, and engaging activities, the conclave effectively bridged theoretical knowledge with real-world financial practices, enhancing students’ understanding of global financial dynamics and industry expectations.
PGDM FINANCE LAB – GUEST WORKSHOP ON ‘Financial Statement Analysis using POWER BI
On 9th and 21st August, Dr. Narayana Swamy, an eminent academician with extensive expertise in finance, delivered insightful guest lectures on “Financial Statement Analysis using Power BI.” Having previously served as the Head of the Finance Department at SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai, he brings a rich blend of academic excellence and leadership in program design and delivery. His sessions focused on applying analytical tools to interpret financial statements, enabling students to gain practical exposure to data-driven decision-making. With his strong background in corporate finance, financial reporting, and analytics, the lectures significantly enhanced students’ understanding of modern financial analysis techniques.
Finance Conclave 2024
The Finance Conclave 2024 centered around the theme “Driving Business Excellence through Technology in the Financial Landscape,” and brought together prominent industry leaders and professionals. The event kicked off with a keynote address by Pinaki Mishra, Vice President of JP Morgan Chase & Co., who highlighted the transformative role of technology in fostering financial innovation. The panel discussion, featuring experts like Gopinath Reddy (Finastra), Rahul Rungta (Orkla India), Subhendu Acharjee (EY), Sandeep Polisetti (Hector Beverages), and Saranya R (Skuad), explored how businesses can leverage technology to achieve operational excellence and drive growth in the ever-evolving financial sector. The event provided valuable insights into the integration of technology and business strategies for enhanced financial performance.
PGDM FINANCE LAB – GUEST WORKSHOP ON ‘STOCK TRADING‘
The PGDM Finance Lab organized an insightful session on stock trading for second-year PGDM Finance students. The workshop was led by Ms. Deeksha Agarwal, a certified trainer from the National Stock Exchange (NSE), who shared her in-depth expertise in stock trading and market analysis with the participants. Through this session, students gained valuable insights into the intricacies of stock trading, enhancing their understanding of market trends and investment strategies. It was a great opportunity for students to learn from a seasoned professional and deepen their knowledge in the field of finance.

As part of the Finance Conclave 2023 at ISME, two insightful panel discussions were held on the theme “Financial Fusion: Unlocking the Potential of Technology.” The first session, moderated by Dr. Nisha Mary Thomas, featured an esteemed panel including Mr. Indranil Dutta (VP, Kantar), Ms. Neelima Jayanthi (Partner, Guru & Jana), Ms. Bhanu Prabha Akella (AVP, JP Morgan), Mr. Ravi Sharma (Director, IDC), and Mr. Sheshukumar (Deloitte). The second session, moderated by Prof. Amrutha KP, delved into the impact of technology on the financial sector, with insights from Mr. Murali Krishna (Director, DAA Consulting), Ms. Poonam Chaddha (DGM Finance), Mr. A.S.
