NEN E-Week concludes with the Prize Distribution Function at ISME, Bangalore.
The final day of E-Week, was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm on 17th Feb.2012.
The prize distribution function was held and all the participants and the winners were awarded with mementos and certificates.
Prof. Nitin Garg addressed the students, focusing on the Business Plans that was an important activity of the e-week. After watching the zeal of the students in the business plan activity, he threw the idea of an entrepreneurship incubation cell in the college where, ideas of entrepreneurship could be practically given a thought under the guidance of the professors. “Let’s think beyond jobs” he focused on. As he gave examples of the plans by the students, each and every business plan was discussed, on the product, need, demand and opportunity. Further, geographic, customer segment and the product were also discussed, that included quality, innovation, efficiency and customer service.
There was a video that was also played showing glimpses of all the activities, and events for the whole NEN E-Week.
The Momos making team bagged the first prize with the maximum profit of Rs.3500 in just 3 days.
The runners up teams were the greeting cards teams, where handmade cards, that were Valentine’s Day special, got a lot of customers.
The prizes and certificates were given away to the enthusiastic students by Prof. Nitin Garg. Along with the prizes of the NEN week, the students were also given certificates for the previous events in college that included, the best manager, Ad Mad winners, managerial skills development activity and many more.
