ISME HOLDS ITS FOURTH CONVOCATION AT ZURI, WHITEFIELD.

ISME organized its fourth annual convocation on 26th Feb 2011 at Hotel Zuri, Whitefield among much fanfare.
The grand ceremony was chaired by Mr. R K Misra, social entrepreneur and public private champion and founder of SAHYOG- Indian Council for Public Private Partnership. Mr. Misra delivered an inspirational address to the graduating students. He stressed on the need for innovation to take India to the next level in a holistic growth model involving both rural and urban India.

 The convocation attracted eminent personalities from both academia and industry.  A panel discussion on “Corporate Experiences: Managing Innovation” was conducted among prominent Corporate officials and distinguished Academicians. Among them were Dr. Ramesh G. Tagat– Academic mentor ISME, Mr. Srikanth Chunduri- Co-founder & COO-E mart Solutions  , Mr. Pavan Soni- Innovation Evangelist at Wipro  , Mr. Vijay Ramachandran- Founder WisdomTap  ,Mr. Subramanya Jois- MD and CEO, Compusol ,   Mr. Chandran Natarajan- National Advisory Board member ISME,Mr. A N Chandramauli- National Advisory Board member ISME, and Dr. Swaroop Reddy-Program Coordinator at ISME
This rich discussion brought out amazing insights that can be implemented at different stages of the value chain to bring about innovation. One of the key points was that innovation can happen in any sphere of life and is not limited to the industry.
ISME National Advisory Board members conferred the degree certificates to each of its 137 graduating students. Mr. Lokesh Kumar Pareek from the 2010 batch was awarded for exceptional academic achievement and Mr. Gaurav Chaurasia for overall performance.
The convocation was addressed by the Chairman Mr. K G Garg, ISME academic mentor Dr. Ramesh G Tagat, Guest of Honor Mr. A N Chandramauli and ISME Director Mr. Nitin Garg.
The ceremony was a grand success and testament to ISME’s endeavour to strive for excellence.
