The International School of Management Excellence (ISME), Bengaluru, is set to host the Inauguration and Orientation Programme for the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) Class of 2026 on 28 August 2026 (Friday). The programme will mark the formal beginning of the doctoral journey for the new cohort of FPM scholars and will introduce them to ISME’s academic environment, research ecosystem, faculty, programme structure, and expectations of doctoral-level management education.
The inauguration programme will feature sessions on ISME’s vision, values and academic ecosystem, along with insights into cutting-edge management research, the importance of high-quality research and publications, and the role of impactful research in a doctoral journey. The programme will also highlight the achievements of ISME’s Department of Research and provide an opportunity for the incoming scholars to interact with academic leaders, research faculty, and fellow scholars. The inauguration will include scholar introductions, felicitation of the Chief Guest, a vote of thanks, and a group photograph.
The orientation programme will focus on helping the FPM Class of 2026 understand and prepare for their academic and research journey at ISME. The sessions will include an ice-breaking activity, introduction to faculty guides, an orientation to DigiCampus, and a detailed overview of the Fellow Programme in Management course plan, academic expectations, and programme guidelines. The day will conclude with a group photograph and high tea with faculty members, providing an opportunity for interaction and networking.
