The Literary and Communication Club conducted an engaging Mock Parliament activity that provided students with a practical platform to experience the dynamics of parliamentary proceedings, public policy discussions, and democratic decision-making.

Students actively participated by assuming the roles of ministers, opposition leaders, speakers, and members of the house, showcasing their critical thinking, public speaking, leadership, and debating skills.

The Literary and Communication Club organised an interactive discussion session that encouraged students to exchange ideas, express perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversations in a collaborative learning environment.

The activity provided participants with an opportunity to strengthen their communication, listening, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills through open dialogue and group interaction.

The Literary and Communication Club conducted an engaging Communication Challenge activity designed to strengthen students’ listening, observation, interpersonal, and expressive skills.

Through interactive partner-based tasks, participants learned the importance of active listening, clarity in communication, empathy, and non-verbal understanding in meaningful conversations.

The Literary and Communication Club organised an engaging debate on the topic of Sustainable Development, where students presented insightful and thought-provoking perspectives on the importance of creating a sustainable future.

Both teams showcased strong arguments, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills throughout the session. The team advocating sustainable development highlighted its significance for future generations and emphasised the need for responsible environmental practices and long-term resource management.

Participants also discussed practical approaches to implementing sustainability in everyday life and identified various reusable materials and eco-friendly practices that contribute towards building a more sustainable society.

The Literary and Communication Club organised a vibrant and engaging fundraising event featuring a variety of creative and interactive stalls. As part of the event, the club showcased an appealing collection of vintage books, refreshing beverages, and thoughtfully designed bookmarks, which attracted enthusiastic participation from attendees.

Adding a meaningful touch to the occasion, the club also initiated a heartfelt anonymous letter-writing activity that encouraged students to express their emotions and appreciation through words. The initiative created a warm atmosphere of connection, kindness, and emotional expression, with many students choosing to send flowers and heartfelt letters to their loved ones.

To further enrich the experience, dedicated club members contributed their creativity by composing thoughtful poetry, adding an element of reflection, emotion, and artistic expression to the event.

The Literary and Communication Club organised an exciting Treasure Hunt activity that combined creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Participants worked together to decode clues, solve challenges, and navigate through different stages of the hunt with enthusiasm and strategic thinking.

“Because great communicators are not prepared — they are adaptable.”

The Literary & Communication Club at ISME Bengaluru conducted an Extempore Speech Activity — “Speak on Your Feet” on 14th November 2025, aimed at enhancing spontaneous thinking and confident communication among PGDM students.

Students delivered extempore speeches on different topics, building skills in clarity, structure, and delivery under pressure.

The Literary & Communication Club at ISME Bangalore conducted an insightful movie review session on “Margin Call”, offering students a deep dive into the realities of the 2008 Global Financial Crisis.

The LitComm Club’s Margin Call movie review brought powerful lessons on ethics, financial judgment, and crisis decision-making — reminding students that true leadership is tested in moments of uncertainty.

Mock Interview Simulation session was not just about facing interviews- it was about understanding them, mastering them, and owning the moment.

The LitComm Club’s Mock Interview session transformed classrooms into boardrooms — helping students build confidence, refine communication, and prepare for real-world career challenges.
