Experience: Dr.Nitin has a number of years of work experience in the area of technology and management consulting and was a senior member of Deloitte Consulting, Philadelphia, USA and has been involved in number of projects involving strategic analysis, process design, implementation of roll-out strategies, and change management. He is a Certified SAP Enterprise buyer professional & Ariba consultant. He has also undergone number of other specialized training programs on IT subjects and ISO 9000 assessor training course accredited by Sheffield Halam University, U.K.

Dr. Nitin is a lead faculty for Management Game from Carnegie Mellon University, USA that is conducted in ISME in collaboration with Prof. David Lamont of CMU. He is also one of the very few faculty in India that teach Business Strategy Game. Business Strategy Game is conducted in partnership with University of Alabama, USA.

Dr. Nitin is the founder Director of ISME and Co-founder of all the other companies of NVT Group

Experience: She joned industry in 1986 and has worked in several position before joining teaching in 1998 She is currently settled in Bangalore and working at International School of Management Excellence, Bangalore as a Marketing. Her broad area of research is “Urban Indian middle class women as Consumers”. She has travelled quite widely within India and lived in Sweden for two years.

Experience: Dr. Rony Kurien has over 35 years of experience in Business Development, and Management of Education and has held various leadership positions in Indian and multinational organizations across diverse sectors such as Education, International business, consumer products and service industries. He has skills in scoping business opportunities, developing entrepreneurial skills and consulting roles. He has held senior leadership positions in various reputed educational institutions and business organizations including Director Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore; Dean, Ecole Hoteliere Lavasa, Pune; Asst. Experience: Dr. Vivek has extensive experience in the area of International Marketing. After his completion of MBA from Purdue, Vivek worked for Watsco in Miami, Florida – one of the largest distributors of air-conditioning equipment in the US.

Upon his return to India, in his consulting capacity with Minrad (a US based Pharma Company dealing with anesthetics), he has developed distributors for the company in Middle East and South East Asia. Dr. Vivek’s consulting work gave him an opportunity to visit over 20 countries across North America, Middle East & South East Asia annually and got exposed to the best industry practices worldwide and with top companies like Infosys, Wipro, and GE.

Dr. Vivek is one of the founder Directors of NVT Quality Lifestyle which is into the niche area of building quality gated villa communities in Bangalore.

Experience: Raghuraman has more than 12 years of experience in various sectors in the industry and 11 years of academic experience. He has worked with companies like General Motors India, Rane Group, Reliance ADAG Group and Career Forum in various capacities as Channel Sales Manager, Product Manager, Trainer and Business Development Manager. In his last stint before joining ISME, he was associated as a Business Development consultant with Ashva Technologies a Healthcare IT startup that develops IT solutions for the Healthcare area, especially in the radiology area.

He is currently pursuing his doctorate from a leading university in the area of e-commerce. His current research interests include social media, B2B and Digital marketing.

Experience: Tanuj has several years of experience in the US Fixed Income markets at Citigroup as Director, Head of US MBS and Real-Estate ABS Strategy and at Bank of America. Over the years, he has been involved in trading, research and strategy in Mortgage Backed Securities.

Tanuj has contributed to several industry panels such as the American Securitization Forum (ASF) and Citigroup-hosted annual GSM conference discussing the impact of Government policies and legislations on the future of the housing markets in the US. Tanuj was a part of a team that interacted with US policy makers comprising the FDIC, the Federal Reserve and members of the Basel committee to recommend Basel capital rules for the securitization market. Tanuj also interacted with members of the Dutch Ministry of Finance and evaluated the mortgage portfolio that was ring-fenced during the financial crisis.

Amitava held positions of COO, Centre for Operations Management, IIM Bangalore, and Director, Indo-German Training Centre at Indo-German Chamber of Commerce before accepting Visiting Faculty engagements at leading management schools and Banking Training centres in India and abroad. Experience: Prabha is a professional with over 22 years of experience across industry and education. She has expertise in audit and assurance, Trust Fund accounting, pension administration, and treasury operations. Formerly an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, she has extensive experience auditing listed companies and leading due diligence and internal audit assignments. At the World Bank Group, Prabha held key roles in Trust Fund and Treasury Accounting, collaborating with donor countries and managing teams in the Treasury Department. She was also instrumental in migrating processes to the IBRD’s India office.

For the past 10 years, Prabha has been a dedicated educator, mentoring students in ACCA, CA, and CMA courses. She has taught at institutions like Jain College, St. Joseph’s, and Mount Carmel College, and runs her own coaching business. He held senior positions in IR and later HR being Administration and legal Officer for an American Agri based Company in Hyderabad for 4 years, Personnel Manager for Parle Biscuits for 6 years and Head of HR for Voltas Ltd (Delhi) for 4 years and then moving on to head a multinational Search Company in Bangalore for close to 3 years. Experience: Indranil Dutta joined ISME in early 2024 as an Associate Professor of Practice after a distinguished corporate career of over two decades. In addition to his teaching and academic responsibilities, he leads the consulting practice within ISME’s external engagement division, bringing deep industry insight and actionable strategies to partner organizations. A seasoned business leader and market research specialist, he previously served as Vice President at Kantar and held key positions at JDC and IBM. During his corporate career, he authored numerous technology and business articles for external media and frequently spoke at major industry forums and conferences.
Teaching has been a parallel passion throughout his professional journey. He has collaborated with leading management institutes as a mentor, guest lecturer, and panel discussant. At ISME, he contributes by developing caselets and blogs, and is actively working on new case studies that reflect real-world challenges and dilemmas faced by start-ups and businesses. His first case was published by Bloomsbury Publishing and launched at an international case event hosted by a prominent Indian B-School. His academic interests span services marketing, marketing strategy, sustainable business, and related domains.

Educational Summary: Rajendra Desai graduated with  B.Tech from IIT Delhi in Chemical Engineering (1984) and went on to acquire a Masters in Operations Research from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, USA (1988).  Subsequently, he completed a Management Program for Entrepreneurs and Family Business from IIM, Bangalore.(2008).

Experience Summary: He has over 20 years of experience as an Entrepreneur in founding and scaling up a Leather Accessories Manufacturing Firm. He has spent over 10 years in academics – as Dean ( External Programs, XIME, Bangalore), Dean (Management Development Programs, AIMIT Mangalore),  Assistant and Associate Professor positions at St. Joseph’s Institute of Management and XIME, Bangalore and Research Associate (Virginia Tech), He has been teaching quantitative subjects – Statistics, Operations Research and Business Analytics as well as courses in Marketing and Entrepreneurship for PGDM and Executive Courses.

Earlier he was the Dean of Atria Centre for Management & Entrepreneurship, Bangalore for over 4 years. He led their MBA program to the prestigious NBA Accreditation.
