His career spans senior roles in reputed institutions and organizations in India and abroad, including Australia and the USA. His academic interests include marketing, customer decision making, tourism development, retailing and education.

Dr. Purnajit Chatterjee

Dr. Purnajit Chatterjee holds a PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad and a D.Litt. He brings over three decades of extensive industry experience since 1988, including senior leadership roles at IBM and other leading global corporations. Since transitioning to academia in 2018, he has been actively involved in leading executive education and postgraduate programs, with a strong focus on strategic management. His areas of expertise include marketing management, international business, product and brand management, and technology strategy.

Indranil Dutta

Associate Professor of Practice & Consulting Lead, ISME

Indranil Dutta holds a B.Tech (Hons.) and a PGDM and joined ISME after a distinguished corporate career in leadership roles. He brings over two decades of experience in market research, strategy, and business insights, having worked with leading organizations such as Kantar, IDC, and IBM. At ISME, he teaches and mentors students in market research, consumer behaviour, services marketing, and international business. He is currently pursuing a PhD from IIM Sambalpur.

Arvind Agarwalla

Founder of FACT Software Group

Born in Kolkata, he completed his graduation in 1983 from St. Xavier’s College. In 1993, he moved to Singapore, where he expanded his professional journey and went on to establish and lead Fact Software Group, building it into a recognized player in the technology and enterprise software space.

Prakash Singh

Academician and Consultant

Dr. Prakash Singh is a Professor in the Finance and Accounting area at Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (since 2006). A Mechanical Engineering graduate from HBTI Kanpur (1993), he completed his MBA in Finance from Lucknow University (1997) and PhD from BITS Pilani (2004) focusing on Indian banking sector reforms. He teaches courses such as Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance, Valuation, Risk Management, and Financing Startups in the MBA program. With 18+ years of combined industry and academic experience, he has previously worked with Escorts Yamaha Motors and Kotak Mahindra Primus. He also undertakes consulting and training assignments on financial restructuring and valuation, serves on government committees and NBFC boards, and is the Convener of SCIFI, an IIM Lucknow–SIDBI/DFID supported incubation center promoting startups in Fintech, Agritech, rural livelihood, and women empowerment.
