The International School of Management Excellence (ISME), Bengaluru, inaugurated the PGDM Batch 2026–28 Orientation Programme on 13 July 2026 at the NaVaTara Auditorium, welcoming a new generation of future business leaders to one of Bangalore’s leading management institutions. The inauguration ceremony marked the beginning of a transformative journey in management education, introducing students to ISME’s learner-centric academic environment, industry-integrated curriculum, global outlook, and commitment to leadership excellence. The event was attended by members of the Executive Board, faculty, staff, parents, senior students, and the incoming PGDM cohort. The programme featured a traditional Lighting of the Lamp, an Invocation Dance, and inspiring addresses by Dr. Rony G. Kurien, Dean, ISME, Mr. Kamal Bali, President & Managing Director, Volvo Group India (Chief Guest), Dr. Anand Joshi, Board Member, ISME and Ex-Founder Vice Chancellor, CMR University (Guest of Honor), and Dr. Nitin Garg, Director and Executive Board Member, ISME, who encouraged students to embrace innovation, integrity, resilience, continuous learning, and responsible leadership in an evolving global business landscape.
The Orientation Programme also provided students with a comprehensive introduction to the PGDM programme, academic expectations, and the opportunities available for experiential learning, corporate engagement, entrepreneurship, international exposure, research, and holistic development. Dr. Shampa Nandi, Assistant Dean (Academics) and Principal – PG, familiarized the students with the academic framework, assessment process, professional conduct, and the values that define the ISME learning experience. The event reinforced ISME’s vision of developing globally competent, ethically responsible, and industry-ready management professionals, while inspiring students to pursue academic excellence, build leadership capabilities, and prepare for successful careers in business and management. The inauguration laid a strong foundation for the PGDM Batch 2026–28 to embark on a rewarding journey of learning, innovation, and lifelong professional growth.
