Client – Kesoram Industries Ltd. (Leading cement manufacture in India)

  • A solution was created for optimising primary and secondary freight along with storage costs resulting in a steady 2.5-3% annual savings on logistics costs. A demand prediction model delivered results with an 85% accuracy.

Client – Krismar (A leading imported marble supplier in India)

  • Inventory optimization
  • Creation of a prescriptive analytics model to improve the inventory turns ratio. Developed a demand forecasting model based on internal and external data

Tilak Thomas started his career in 2005 and has overall experience inclusive of both experience in corporates and academic institutions including stints such as serving as Zonal Manager HR-South for Zee Turner Ltd. His experience also included a stint of over three years at IIM Bangalore where he marketed and sold IIMBx (IIM Bangalore’s digital learning brand and department) courses to academic institutions and corporates and managed relationships with academic and corporate partners of IIMBx. He has worked in education since 2009, across both teaching and senior marketing roles. He looks to leverage his extensive network and experience in education and amongst corporates to achieve organizational objectives for all stakeholders across multiple areas. At ISME, he is the Head of Consultancy, Training, and External Relations.

Rajendra Desai is a certified consultant with M/s Frontline Systems Inc, USA a leader in providing Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics solutions for Industry. He has successfully executed consulting projects for diverse industries helping them improve their operations through analytics solutions. He has a Masters in Operations Research from Virginia Tech, USA and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi.

Dr. Shampa Nandi has PhD in Marketing from ISM (IIT, Dhanbad). MBA (Marketing & Finance), MSc. (Math), PGP Data Science & Business Analytics (UT Austin & Great Lakes). She has published more than dozen papers in International and National Journals. She won several prizes for case writing and for research papers. Her current project is on creating a Prescriptive Analytics Model using Stochastic Optimization.
