The Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification, conferred by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), is a rigorous and globally recognized professional designation. CAs undergo comprehensive education, practical training, and challenging examinations to acquire expertise in finance, accounting, audit, and taxation. Emphasizing ethical standards and continuous professional development, CAs play pivotal roles in diverse industries, showcasing technical excellence and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards in financial matters.

About CA Exam

A candidate would be said to have passed the Foundation examination, if he or she obtains in one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the papers.

The foundation exam has an equal mix of question pattern. Two papers, namely Principles of Accounting and Business Laws are objective type and will have negative marking as will be notified later. Quantitative Aptitude and Business Economics will have subjective type exams.

The BCOM program is divided into a total of 6 semesters with specializations being offered in the final year. Below is a brief overview of the BCOM program.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

 PO1:  Functional Knowledge: To prepare students to pursue careers in Marketing, Accounting and Taxation, Auditing, Financial Analytics, and Management and to develop business analysts for companies, capital markets, commodity markets, and securities markets. 

PO2: Skills: To develop IT-enabled human resources, entrepreneurs for various sectors of the economy, and business philosophers for solving real-life business problems and addressing business development issues and to act as think tanks for Business Development issues with a focus on social responsibility and ecological sustainability.

The Technical University of Applied Sciences WĂĽrzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS), Germany is one of the biggest universities of applied sciences with more than 9,300 students and about 200 professors,

THWS offers more than 40 Bachelors and Master’s degree program. The program’s cover technology, economics, social sciences, computer sciences, visual design and language.

A memorandum of understanding was signed during the visit of Dr. Rainer Wehner and Dr.Harald Bolsinger to ISME, Bengaluru on February 23, 2024.

The MoU opens doors to the under graduate students of ISME to visit THWS after their 6th Semester for 6 months exchange program and it will allow them to plan their future studies in Europe.

This association allows our students to get a Certificate based on the course taken and avail a complete waiver of Tuition fee (Food, accommodation and transport charges excluded). Top 4-5 students will be selected based on Merit.

Admission to the BCOM program at ISME is highly competitive. The Admissions team reviews applications on an individual basis looking at both quantitative and qualitative aspects of an applicant-s professional and academic background. An elaborate selection process is followed to ensure quality enrolment.

Eligibility:

Candidates who have completed any 2-year Pre-University course of State Board / CBSE/ ICSE/IB or its
Equivalent with minimum 60% marks are eligible for admission into the BCOM program. All applicants for BCOM degree should have proficiency in oral and written English communication.

General Criteria

Applicants are selected on the basis of their predicted grades. Final admission is based on the cumulative
assessment of the Class XII results and personal interview.

Selection Process:

Stage 1: Complete B.Com Application Form (Online)
Every applicant seeking admission to ISME needs to complete the Application Form, attach the required documents and submit the entire application to ISME-s Admission Office.

Stage 2: Personal Interview (Online / Face to face) & Entrance Test

Stage 3: Admission Decision
Based on the review of the application, test scores and the recommendation of the interview panel, the admission committee invites selected students for admission to the program. Admitted candidates are sent the Admission Offer letter. The admission would be final only after the receipt of confirmation of Admission Acceptance from the candidate and the payment of the registration fee. Fee once paid is non-refundable.
