In real-world computing systems, CPU scheduling plays a critical role in determining the order and efficiency with which processes are executed. Interestingly, many of these scheduling principles can be observed in everyday human decision-making. This case study presents a research-oriented analogy between CPU scheduling algorithms and the task-handling behavior of a delivery driver working in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.

Through discussion, students can identify how Priority Scheduling, Shortest Job First (SJF), Context Switching, and Multilevel Feedback Queues (MLFQ) operate in dynamic environments.
