We employ a rolling admissions process--meaning all applications are generally reviewed in chronological order according to the date they were completed. Please note that these dates are not absolute deadlines.
It is to each applicant's benefit to apply earlier rather than later, but we encourage applicants to submit the strongest application of which they are capable. We continue offering admission until we believe the incoming class to be full. ISME announces admissions for January Batch 2012, starting on 20th January, 2012

Admission to the programs is highly
competitive. The Admissions Office reviews
applications on an individual basis looking
at both quantitative and qualitative aspects
of an applicant's professional and academic
background. The committee seeks to assess
an individual's potential for academic success
and future professional growth.
The admissions committee will carefully
consider each completed application, with
particular attention to academic performance
in school and graduation, test scores, work
history, extracurricular and community activities
and honors and achievements and personal
essay. Personal characteristics that add
to the diversity of the class may also be
considered.
In general, candidates applying before the
round 1 deadline will receive a decision
during the end of March; those applying
before the round two deadline will receive
a decision by the end of April and those
applying by the round three deadline will
receive a decision by the end of May.
