International School of Management Excellence (ISME) concluded the phase 1 placement process between 1st May, 2011 and 15th July, 2011. The placement process at ISME is divided into three phases, with the first phase concluding on the completion of the first academic session which comprised of more than 1200 contact hours spread across six terms during the first year. The students in the phase 1 can either opt for a full time placement or an internship with a company.
Across both the campuses, there were more than 130 companies that participated in the phase 1 process. A total of 218 offers were made to 209 students who had participated in the placement process.
ISME’s has consistently matched the expectation of the industry in terms of students being well trained in all aspects for management roles. This year too, there were companies that have regularly participated in the placement process, recruiting ISME students. The top recruiter for the phase 1 process included Time Analytics, Yahoo, Unilever, Capillary, Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, Bharati Walmart, Eureka Forbes, J P Morgan, Thomson Reuters, Ocwen, E & Y, Infosys, IBM, Onicra, Club Mahindra, Deutsche Bank, American Express and Essar that gave multiple offers. |
There was a greater choice for graduates this year with companies representing various industry verticals offering placement to the students. The industry verticals included Market Research, Media, Real Estate, Retail & Pharma, Telecom & Services, FMCG, Consulting & Manufacturing, Consumer Durables, Education, Banking and Financial Research. |
